Branding the Future: Giving Digital Education a Visual Identity

Brand Identity, Logo Design, Key Visual Development and Cross-platform Creative Adaptation

For EdCity’s Digital Education Week 2026, we created the event logo and key visual system, building a flexible identity across digital, social, print and on-site brand touchpoints.

Before the Event Speaks, Its Identity Has Already Entered the Room

An event brand today has to do more than look good. It has to travel.

For Digital Education Week 2026, Nekoshima Studio worked with Hong Kong Education City to develop a visual identity capable of moving seamlessly from a social feed to a conference backdrop, from digital advertising to printed collateral and on-site applications.

The starting point was not simply a logo. It was a brand system. The DEW identity and key visual needed to represent a human-centric, future-ready vision of education while remaining instantly recognisable across very different formats and audience environments. The resulting visual language was designed for adaptation across digital banners, social content, websites, print materials, event backdrops and promotional items.

That versatility matters because event marketing has fundamentally changed. Audiences no longer encounter an event through one poster or one launch announcement. They meet it repeatedly, often in fragments: a Reel today, a display ad tomorrow, a microphone flag at a press event, then a stage backdrop when they finally arrive.

The creative challenge is therefore no longer simply “How do we promote this event?” It is “How do we build a visual world people can recognise before they even read the name?”

For DEW 2026, branding became that connective tissue, turning multiple campaign moments, platforms and physical spaces into one coherent experience.
